Future AI Disclaimer
UPDATED ยท JUNE 2026
AI-driven video analysis is on the TrackYourRecord roadmap. It is not active in the current MVP.
No automated AI analysis currently runs on your videos, and no machine-learning model currently reviews your lifting technique or generates video feedback.
Current state
Today, video feedback in TrackYourRecord is written by the human coach you choose to connect with.
TrackYourRecord may show non-AI training information such as progress charts, PR detection, consistency indicators, volume calculations, and basic recommendations based on your logged data. These are not AI video analysis.
No AI video review today
TrackYourRecord does not currently use AI to:
- Analyze your lifting form.
- Judge your technique.
- Detect bar path, depth, range of motion, tempo, or posture.
- Generate coaching feedback from your videos.
- Score your lifts.
- Make health, safety, or injury-risk assessments from your videos.
If AI features are added in the future
If AI video analysis or other AI-driven coaching features are added later:
- AI features will be clearly labeled inside the app.
- AI features should be opt-in where appropriate.
- The app will explain what data is used.
- The Privacy Policy and relevant legal pages should be updated before activation.
- Users should be informed whether videos, metadata, or training history are processed by AI systems.
- AI output will be informational only.
AI is not a substitute for professional judgment
Any future AI feedback should be treated as general assistance only.
AI feedback will not replace:
- A doctor.
- A physiotherapist.
- A qualified strength coach.
- A medical diagnosis.
- Rehabilitation guidance.
- The user's own judgment.
Strength training involves risk, and technique assessment can be affected by camera angle, lighting, video quality, missing context, and individual circumstances.
No automated decisions today
TrackYourRecord does not currently make automated decisions about your health, injury risk, training readiness, account status, or coach access based on AI video analysis.
Future changes
If AI features are introduced, this disclaimer may be updated to reflect how those features work, what data they use, and what choices users have.
